Minnesota – According to the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) permits “type F” temporary portable precast concrete barrier. All type F barriers must be 12’6” in length, 2’8” in height, and a width of 1’10.5”. Connection pins must conform to specific dimensions.

Mississippi – The Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT) permits concrete precast median barriers that follow the following standards: 10’ in length, 32” in height, with two lifting slots. Anchor stud connectors are the standard connection type, but alternate connections may be approved as well.

Missouri – According to the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT), temporary concrete F-Shape barrier pieces should measure 12’6”, include two lifting slots on each barrier (2’ apart from each other), and connection rods should be 2’4” in length.

Montana – The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) permits concrete barrier rails with reinforcing steel conforming to AASHTO M 31 Grade 60 and class deck concrete or equivalent.

Nebraska – According to the Nebraska Department of Transportation (NebraskaDOT), permitted barriers must measure 12’6” in length and 1’10.5” in width. Barriers include four 1’ lifting slots.
